Terms of sale
These terms govern every purchase of Time-mile premium. They are written to be read, not to be survived. Last updated 16 August 2026.
Who you are buying from
Time-mile is published and sold by Growing Peas — which is also the name that appears on your card statement. Growing Peas is the trading name of Lawrenza SRL, a société à responsabilité limitée under Belgian law, RPM Tournai, enterprise and VAT number BE 0747.683.918. Contact: [email protected]. The registered office and the rest of the identification are on the Growing Peas legal notice.
What is sold
Time-mile reads a Google Maps Timeline export in your browser and turns it into a mileage log. Reading the file, seeing every trip and seeing the deduction total are free and always will be. What is sold is the right to export in full: without a purchase, exports are truncated to a short preview and marked as such.
Premium is sold per tax year, not per period of access. A calendar year that is still running can only be rented; a year that has closed is sold outright.
Prices
| What | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Free | — | Everything visible, deduction total shown, export truncated to a preview |
| Subscription | $8.99 per month, or $69 per year | The calendar year in progress, for as long as the subscription runs |
| Year pass | $29 once | One closed year, permanently |
| All years | $89 once | Every closed year, permanently, including years that close later |
A year is also acquired permanently by 120 days of subscription falling inside it. This is automatic: if you were subscribed through a year for four months or more, 1 January does not take that year away from you.
Prices are shown in US dollars. Where Belgian VAT applies it is calculated at checkout and shown to you before you pay. If you already hold a subscription at an older price, that price continues to apply until the subscription ends; a price change never applies to a subscription already running.
How a purchase is paid for
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. Your card details are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach a system operated by Lawrenza SRL. A receipt is issued by email for every payment.
Delivery
Access opens as soon as the payment succeeds — there is nothing to install and nothing to wait for. A purchase is attached to the account you were signed in with, so use the same account to get it back on another machine.
Changing your mind: fourteen days
As a consumer in the European Union you have fourteen days from your purchase to withdraw from it, without giving a reason. For digital content opened immediately, a seller is allowed to ask you to sign that right away in exchange for instant access. I do not ask that. You keep the fourteen days, and access still opens the moment you pay.
Wherever you live — the fourteen days are a European right, but I apply them to everyone — one email to [email protected] within fourteen days ends it. No form, no reason to give, no questions from me. The money goes back to the card that paid, within fourteen days of your telling me; Stripe takes a few working days to show it.
A refunded purchase closes the access it opened. Files you already exported are yours; the year goes back to the preview export.
Beyond the fourteen days
The legal guarantee of conformity outlives the withdrawal period and cannot be signed away. So, at any time:
- If the tool does not do what this page and the site say it does, you are entitled to have it fixed or to be refunded.
- If a payment was taken twice, or after you cancelled, it is refunded in full.
- If you were charged for something you plainly could not use — the export fails on your file and I cannot fix it — I refund it. This one is a promise rather than an obligation, and I have never argued about it.
Write to [email protected]. Refunds go back to the card that paid, and Stripe takes a few working days to show them.
Subscriptions
A subscription renews automatically, monthly or annually, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancelling stops the next charge and leaves the current period running to its end. There is no pro-rata refund of a period already paid for, and no notice period to respect.
If a renewal payment fails, premium access stops until the payment succeeds. Years you already acquired permanently — by a pass, or by the 120-day rule — are never affected by a failed payment.
Your account and your data
Your Timeline export is parsed in your own browser and never uploaded. The account exists to remember what you have bought. What is processed, by whom and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.
You may close your account at any time by asking. Closing it gives up access to any year you bought, including permanent ones, since there is nothing left to attach them to.
Availability, and what is not promised
Time-mile runs in your browser and depends on the file Google gives you. No uptime is guaranteed, and export formats published by Google change without warning — when one does, the parser is updated, but there may be a gap. Deduction rates are reproduced from national tax authorities for information: the tool computes, it does not advise, and what you file is your responsibility.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. A change never applies retroactively to a purchase already made, and a subscription already running keeps the terms and the price it was taken out under.
Law, and what to do if we disagree
Write to [email protected] first. If that does not settle it, consumers in the European Union may bring the dispute to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service, boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 bte 1, 1000 Brussels, mediationconsommateur.be. Belgian law applies and the courts of the judicial district of Hainaut have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the protection a consumer is owed under the law of their own country of residence.
